Final Generation -- Prompt 32
Our generation is going to be remember for many things, most of which are not good. For example: our generation will be know for being disrepectful and irresponsible. My generation has made many advances both technological and other, and we have weathered some of the most tremendous wars and natural disasters. Laws have been passed that have legalized abortion and gay marriage, and we may have the first black, or lady president. More then all this I want to be remembered as the last generation... the generation that got their act together and took the gospel to the whole world so Christ could return. If that's the case, who would look back on my generation anyway?

Planning of the Best -- Prompt 30
I would a have to say the best year of my life has been this last school year. I have learned sooooo much and found so many new friendships, most importantly the one with my heavenly Father, that it hard to look back and not have good memories. Especially since I made the decision to graduate this year instead of next, I have seen how much I need to work on making good memories, because I have to jam a year and a half worth of memories in-between now and graduation. Yikes, there is so much to do and store in my memory bank. Asides from the fact that I believe this coming year will be the best of my life so far, the part of the school year that has already passed my by has been amazing. I have seen God work in my life so many times. Every time I thought I had made a random decision or there was some coincidence, later on I would look back and see God writing my future in the past. It has been awesome, and of course this year would not have been my best without all the friends who laughed, cried, went crazy, talked, and grew with me. My final thought for this year is, the best was to have a good time is to plan on it!

Insta-Cake Batter -- Prompt 29
It's your first time back at the grocery since the manager, in a not-so-kind manner, told you never to bring your kids into his store again. You're secretly relieved to have to leave them home with your spouse. Thirty minutes later, you return home--without groceries. Egg yolk is dripping from your hair, chocolate syrup is smeared across your shirt, and smashed produce is sticking to your shoes.
No one understands me!! You see, I love shopping, any kind of shopping, but particularly grocery shopping, because I adore food! I just love to ramble down they aisle and look and smell and occasionally hold all the wonderful foods.
On this particular day I was relieved of my kids (they had to stay home because of a prior incident, but that is another story. The point is they got to stay home with their dad) and was able to take my time and truly enjoy the experience of choosing, bonding with and purchasing my groceries. I had just entered the store and began down the first aisle full of bakery goods when I heard my name paged over the intercom. This was a total shock to me because I had not done anything to incite attention or create a problem. In my rush to find the person calling my name, I tripped and landed in the middle of the aisle, face down.
I must tell you that I am not a petite person, in fact, I am rather large, ok ok, I'm morbidly obese (probably has something to do with my adoration of food). Because of my size, when I was sprawled in the aisle I made it impossible for anyone to pass without an off roading vehicle and determination superior to most human beings (it is very hard to off-road among the wilds of my fat!). It was funny that there was just such a person in the store, rather, in my aisle at that very moment.
Perhaps the wirery little old woman didn't have a jeep, but she did have a cart full of bananas, chocolate syrup, and eggs (probably to make some kind of cake or maybe a really original banana split). When she saw me go down, she didn't even pause, but instead ploughed ahead at full speed. The impact was tremendous! As the cart hit all its contents smashed through the metal front of the cart (you know, it's not really wire or mesh, but all carts are made of it) and instantly became a puree that covered me head to foot. The little lady went flying and landed clear of me by about a foot. She instantly scrambled to her feet and sprinted off.
I was left a sticky mess that was soon found by an irate manager. He called in the forklift to lift me to my feet, then charged me a $200 fine and banned me from his store forever. That is how I arrived home without groceries. Egg yolk dripping from my hair, chocolate syrup smeared across my shirt, and smashed produce sticking to my shoes.

I'm Sorry, Did I Offend You? -- Prompt 28
To Censor: to examine in order to suppress or delete anything considered objectionable.
I believe censorship is against the rights of the American people, however, when uncensored materiel (explicit sex, drugs, violence, language, etc.) is published in magazines, newspapers, bulletin boards, or other public places I think it is improper and crude. Children are all around in our society and they are constantly being bombarded with images, language and ideas that should not enter their heads for a long time, but are blatantly displayed all around. We do have a right to free speech, but we need to consider those with innocent minds. Our opinions should not be restricted or suppressed, but we need to be respectful and courteous of other and their viewpoints as well.
The most common case of censorship I can think of is in the textbook industry. It is common practice for a publisher to write a text book tailored to his point of view, even though it may distort the truth. This is wrong. Untruth in the school system should definitely be censored, if that is the term you would apply to making sure our education material is worthy of the name educational.
We have rights given to us by the American nation, but we need to use these rights with respect and responsibility. If we expect others to accept our opinions and not be offended, then we must return the favor.

Wordage According to Muah -- Prompt 27
Yes Dear -- Whatever, I'm not up to arguing
Tear, Tear, Double Tear -- I'm so sorry (note the excessive sarcasm)
Anytime this year would be nice -- It's ok, I'm really slow too, but I'm also really impatient, so hurry up!
Don't hurt yourself! -- Said after someone implies they are trying to think in order to remind the person to be careful when trying things for the first time.

I'm Bored Already -- Prompt 26
If I were stranded on a desert island for 10 I would bring:
Kelsea because she is my best friend.
The Bible because there is always something you can learn and be encouraged by.
A CD with all my favorite music on it (Josh Groban, Casting Crowns, ASK, etc.) because I love music.
Potatoes, because they are super yummy and healthy besides.
Water because I think that the island will be surrounded by salt water so I will need some fresh water.
A sarong, because it is an island (duh!).
And finally a boat so I won't be stuck on the island forever.

My Jolly Christmas Break -- Prompt 25
My Christmas break did not start out with a bang, but it did begin with another raucous noise. This noise was emitted from me as I slept for the first three days of my home leave, but soon I returned from my comatose state... just in time to start eating. Even though I did immensely enjoy all the rest and stuffing of my face, I soon fell into a state of complete boredom. Lucky for me, my family took this opportunity to start out on an eight hour trek to southern Oregon.
The drive was long and extremely boring, but the family at the other end of the highway was well worth the back-aches, endless snacking, and miles of black asphalt. While in the snowy northern country (that is a comparison to central California, not the north pole) I enjoyed the playing all sorts of board games (my family has many, most of which take well over an hour to complete), card games, a few good books, and of course I did not neglect eating or sleeping. I was also "thrilled" (note the sarcasm) to discover that my ice-skating skills are much reduced since my last venture across frozen water. Luckily I escaped my encounter with only a nice set of blisters on my ankles.
I was not impressed by the prospect of coming back to Weimar, but here I am, ten pounds heavier. Oh well, there is another home-leave right around the corner in which I can catch up on my much neglected eating and sleeping hobbies.
